When Discover wanted to reinvent the first-year communications for new customers, I not only wrote copy for the emails, notifications and onboarding experience, I also helped the business strategically align on the best touch points at the best time for each type of customer we had. It was the first time we had a unified tone and look for dozens of initial customer communications.
